Description
In this documentary, David Attenborough examines adaptations, lifestyles, and hunting strategies of the two main carnivore groups: cats and dogs. In the far north, the arctic fox hunts during summer and buries surplus food to survive the winter. In southern climates, leopards and tigers have become solitary hunters relying on stealth and surprise to catch their next meal. Wolves and lions work in teams and family groups to tackle larger prey and protect their young. Hyenas share domestic duties and “communicate” by marking their territory. Communal life is strictly controlled by alpha pairs to maintain hunting efficiency—crucial for group survival. A BBC Production.
