Description
WORLDQuest offers students a unique perspective about the chronological developments of the greatest nations the world has ever known. Formerly known, as Siam, Thailand is located in south East Asia in the heart of the Indochinese Peninsula with an area of 198,000 square miles. Thailand’s early history traces nomadic tribes, which date back 40,000 years ago. Divided among four geographical regions, Thailand’s terrain dramatically changes from one region to the next. Today, Thailand boasts a rich economy while becoming the world’s largest exporter of rice and a major exporter of silk.
