Description
In this program, Hazel Henderson and entrepreneur organic farmer Martin Ping discuss Hawthorne Valley Organic Farm, a cooperative community in upstate New York with over 260 associates. The farm runs a Waldorf School, provides vacation opportunities for inner-city children, has a retail business offering produce, cheeses and specialty foods, and supplies the farmers market in mid-town New York City. Martin feels that the way to happiness is through healthy food and lifestyle choices.
