Description
During the Middle Ages, the Papacy developed as a religious and political force. Unfortunately, the men who occupied the office were often thugs, bandits, and womanizers. This film focuses on Pope John XII. A member of a powerful Roman family, Octavianus was appointed pope at the ripe age of eighteen and led the Papal institution into a state of moral decline.
