Description
This historical newsreel, hosted and narrated by Dennis James, contains three segments. The first is a short profile on actor Rudolph Valentino, including scenes of him as "The Sheik" and of his funerals in New York City and Los Angeles. The next segment highlights the perils of driving in the Indianapolis 500, with footage of some of the worst crack-ups on record. Lastly is a history of Wall Street, with a focus on the crash of 1929. Included with the newsreel features are two recruitment shorts for the U.S. Marine Corps.
