Description
This Prelinger Archives film is a classic drama that details the Great Plains during the Depression--a history of the land and the people who worked it, as well as a window into the optimism and opportunism that initially led settlers to make the Great Plains their home. Gripping footage of a dust storm and its aftermath. The film ends with defeated Dust Bowl farmers heading west--for California.
