Roy, who is new to his small Florida community, becomes involved in another boy's attempt to save a colony of burrowing owls from a proposed construction site.

Owl takes drastic measures to have a good night's sleep.

Eva offers to babysit for little brother Baby Mo so her parents can go to a sky-dancing competition, and she enlists a couple of her friends to help--unfortunately Mo proves to be a handful, eating too much candy, making a big mess, and throwing a tantrum, and she and her friends have to clean up fast before her parents get home.

After Eva the owl's teacher tells a scary story, Eva thinks she sees a ghost and only her best friend, Lucy, believes her. Eva and Lucy decide to go on a ghost hunt in order to figure out if they have actually seen a ghost, or if something else is going on.

When Hailey becomes her new classmate, Eva the owl really wants to be friends with her--but Hailey seems to want nothing to do with her. Worse, Hailey seems to be stealing Eva's best friend Lucy away.

Macy's little sister has wings that are too small, so Eva's class decides to raise money to buy her a flying chair, and half the class opens a bakery, and the other half opens a candy store--but soon competition between the two stores becomes more important than their goal, and Eva needs to convince the other owls that they will collect more money if everyone works as a team.

Eva Wingdale and her owl classmates are on a camping trip to the other side of the forest, where one of the assignments is to make useful inventions--but Eva and Lucy become totally distracted by the legend of Nellie Wingdale, founder of Treetopolis and her buried treasure, and never finish their project.

Eva is very excited about a beach vacation with her family and best friend Lucy, but her secret fear of swimming where there might be hungry sharks could keep her from finding the legendary mermowls.

Poppy the deer mouse urges her family to move next to a field of corn big enough to feed them all forever, but Mr. Ocax, a terrifying owl, has other ideas.
