Description
This is a remarkable and unique book, an informal portrait of Justice Ginsburg, drawing on a series of her conversations with Rosen, starting in the 1990s and continuing through the Trump era. Rosen, a veteran legal journalist, scholar, and president of the National Constitution Center, shares with readers the justice's observations on a variety of topics, and her intellect, compassion, sense of humor, and humanity shine through.

Description
The U.S. Supreme Court's primary function is to interpret laws and determine their Constitutionality. Most cases that reach the Supreme Court involve complex questions that could not be answered in any lower court. In a 1988 interview, Justices Sandra Day O'Connor, William Brennan, Harry Blackmun, and Chief Justice William Rehnquist weighed in on the unique role the Supreme Court played in shaping the law, and how cases reached the court.

Description
This book grew out of an historic opportunity to interview all of the living Supreme Court justices for a C-SPAN feature documentary about the Court, the only time that the nine sitting members and their two retired colleagues have granted interviews to a single television network. Ten of those interviews--the entire current court, plus retired Justice Sandra Day O'Connor--are gathered here in this singular collection.
