Scooby-Doo and the gang are zapped into a computer game based on their own adventures. There they must play the game through to its end to find and capture the Phantom Virus.

The United States and Russia have both built computer complexes capable of independently regulating national defenses of their countries. However, the two computers link and share classified information and top secrets, and it is up to the American designer of the U.S. complex, Charles Forbin, and his Soviet counterpart to stop the computers from seizing control of the world's nuclear missile stockpile.
