Notes

Description
"Nashville counts! is a children's counting and art book created by Vadis Turner and Matthew Parker to raise funds for flood relief [the historic May 1 & 2, 2010 flood in Western and Middle Tennessee, with rainfall totals in some areas exceeding the amounts for a 1,000 year flood]. The book partners cultural and historical facts about Nashville with Nashville artists who have created works to illustrate the pages. All of the original art works in the book were sold at the Rymer Gallery in a silent auction. 100% of the silent auction sales and post-production proceeds will go to flood victims through Hands On Nashville."--Publisher's website.
