Description
Scope and content: Includes a variety of items relating to parks, primarily in Nashville, but also nearby state parks and others. Most of these parks are operated by local or state government, but not all parks fall into such categories. Most items are brochures, usually illustrated, and often with park maps, when appropriate. Brochures often highlight park events, recreational or educational opportunities, facilities, historical significance, flora and fauna, and a variety of related subjects. Many brochures serve as an advertisement as well as a guide. Quantity of materials ranges from a single item to several folders. Most folders contain less than five items, and often only a single item. Some items are photocopies.
