Description
Pinky Aiello, deaf since birth from hereditary causes, has extensively studied Deaf culture and American Sign Language and is well known throughout the United States as a performer and as a supporter of Deaf-hearing team interpreting. In this series of dramatized vignettes, she explores the world of video relay itnerpreting from both the Deaf and interpreter perspectives, Pinky attempts to show what both sides experience, to inform about the challenges of VRS, and to explore the issues involved in this booming phenomenon.
