Karen Katz, a costume designer, a quilt maker, a fabric artist, and a graphic designer, wrote her first children's book when she adopted her daughter from Guatemala. She's written and illustrated over 50 books for children and we think they're some of the best for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
