Description
Lydia Chass is determined to leave her small town of Henley behind, but when a school error leaves her a credit short of graduating, she has to think of something fast if she wants to attend the prestigious journalism program she's been accepted into. She decides to overhaul the town's local history podcast into a truth-telling exposâe, where she'll investigate the Long Stretch of Bad Days: a week when Henley was hit by a tornado and a flash flood as well as its first and only murder, which remains unsolved. She joins forces with misfit Bristal Jamison, who hopes to be the first in her family to graduate high school, and the unlikely pair soon uncovers shocking secrets about Henley's past. But Lydia and Bristal find themselves in a dangerous situation when they discover that someone in town wants these secrets to stay buried.
